Make the Season Kind

Join the fight to end hunger with a donation to your local food bank.

Since 2002, CBC has raised over $11 million in support of food banks across Ontario through its annual holiday fundraiser, Make the Season Kind (formerly Sounds of the Season).

Food bank use is soaring in our communities. Your donation will ensure families experiencing hunger can access the nutritious food they need.

Participate in the “12 Days of Giving”

Want to teach your children about the importance of giving and helping others? Perfect for families with young children, “12 Days of Giving” is a great food-donation activity to prompt conversations with kids about hunger, poverty, privilege, social justice, and empathy.

See below for details on how you can drop off food donations at your local food bank.

Thank you for supporting your local food bank this holiday season through CBC’s Make the Season Kind campaign!
