Get ready to experience Bruce Springsteen’s legendary music like never before! Tribute band Tommy Youngsteen will perform two iconic Springsteen albums – Born to Run and Born in the USA – at Toronto’s famous Horseshoe Tavern on November 1-2, coinciding with the rock star’s own shows in the city.
Tommy Youngsteen includes both current and former artists from Stars, Sam Roberts Band, The Trews, The Arkells, and Lowest of the Low, along with some of the best touring and session musicians in the country.
Bruce Springsteen holds a special place in Daily Bread history. In 1985, he generously donated $25,000 USD to Daily Bread, and we used those funds to purchase our first refrigerated truck. In honor of Springsteen, Tommy Youngsteen will be donating $2.50 from each ticket sold to support our efforts to combat hunger in Toronto.
Additionally, Great Lakes Brewery is donating $1 for every custom Youngsteen beer can sold at the shows, with a limited run of 840 cans available for sale. We are so grateful for their support!
