Toronto Swiftie events in support of Daily Bread

Fans of the global pop icon can combine their love for the superstar and their passion for food security at these Swiftie events supporting the fight to end hunger in our city.

At a time when one in ten Torontonians are turning to food banks to make ends meet, every contribution matters more than ever.

Shake it off at Toronto’s Version: Taylgate 2024

At this all-ages pre-concert event, Swifties can make and exchange friendship bracelets, get extra sparkle at glam refresh stations, sing along with live DJ sets and more. A portion of the event proceeds will go to Daily Bread’s emergency food programs.

Details: The event will take place at Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s North Building, conveniently located near the concert venue, Rogers Centre, from 1:00-11:00pm on all six show dates: November 14-16 and November 21-23. Find out more

Find unique treasures at the One Of A Kind Winter Show (Taylor’s Version)

The Enercare Centre’s One Of A Kind show is one of the largest craft shows in North America, and we are honoured to be their official Give Local charity this year. Attend on Friday, November 22, for a special Taylor Swift-themed day. While you check off your holiday shopping, you can experience free friendship bracelet-making workshops, sing along with a Taylor Swift cover band and rock out at a Swiftie silent disco. Don’t forget to dress in an Eras-inspired outfit for a chance to win One Of A Kind prizes.

Details: One of a Kind Show runs from November 21 – December 1, but the Taylor Swift theme day is November 22. Be sure to add a Daily Bread donation when you purchase your ticket.

Vie for a Taylor Swift Way street sign

This November, 22 street signs will designate the path from Rogers Centre to Nathan Phillips Square as “Taylor Swift Way.” After showgoers shake it off at the concert venue, they’ll be able to walk along Taylor Swift Way to see the square’s Toronto sign lit up in the singer’s signature shade of red. After the signs come down, the city is donating them to Daily Bread to aid in the fight to end hunger. Check out our announcement Instagram post filmed with Deputy Mayor Jennifer McKelvie, and stay tuned to find out how you can become a sign owner!
