As the holidays come to a close, we’re reflecting on all the community support that brightened up this season. This past fall, we were named the official Give Local charity for the One Of A Kind Show, one of the largest craft shows in North America.
Attendees of the November 21 – December 1 exhibition had the option to add in Daily Bread Food Bank donations when purchasing their tickets, and we collected donations on-site as well. In total, we raised enough to provide over 9,300 meals to the community.
On top of this, the One Of A Kind Show team invited our CEO, Neil Hetherington, to be a judge for a festive “Tinsel Town” competition amongst the over 500 artisans who participated in this year’s event.
Our sincere thanks to the One Of A Kind Show for their support this year. The need has never been greater — more than 1 in 10 Torontonians is now relying on food banks. We’re grateful for their past help and looking forward to being the Give Local charity partner for the Spring Show in 2025!
