We are proud to announce that Daily Bread Food Bank has earned a number of recognitions from Charity Intelligence this year. The charity-sector watchdog rated us a five-star charity, one of the top 100 in the country, and one of the top 5 charities by impact in Toronto.
Charity Intelligence’s star ratings are given based on an organization’s financial transparency, results reporting, demonstrated impact, need for funding and cents to the cause per dollar donated. Daily Bread’s results in these categories earned us a spot on the list of the 100 highest-rated charities in the country.
The Top 5 Impact: Toronto Charities list is defined differently. When measuring impact, Charity Intelligence looks at just one question: For every dollar you donate, what’s the measurable return to clients and society? When Charity Intelligence evaluated Toronto charities, Daily Bread was one of the five that demonstrated the highest value created per dollar spent. We are honoured for this recognition of our work.
