After a long, COVID induced hiatus, Daily Bread’s Take Action Program (TAP) is being reinstated. TAP is an opportunity for teens as young as 15 to give back to their community and earn volunteer hours required for graduation.
For the months of July and August, youth can take part in our food sorts, categorizing and boxing food donations or sorting and bagging farm fresh foods like carrots and onions.
The program will run on Wednesdays and Fridays with morning shifts from 8:30-11:30am and afternoon shifts from 12:30-3:30pm. Click here to register for the onsite program. Proof of vaccine will be required for all onsite volunteers.
Students are also encouraged to organize a community food drive to collect non-perishable food donations. For every 25 items you collect and donate to Daily Bread, you’ll earn one volunteer hour.
